Why you should be preparing for the hour of God’s Judgment.
If God, “…spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly”,
And “if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment” 2Pe 2:5&4
Then we can be sure He will do exactly as He has said concerning those who continue in sin.
… A loving God knows it would be no benefit to mankind to allow him to live in sin without making him fully aware that there will be a future judgement.
Because God is love he sends the warning that all our deeds are going to be judged.
Act_17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness …”
What does “judging the world in rightousness” mean? It would be much better to find out now than later at the judgment…
the bible says, “for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.” Isa_26:9
When God’s judgments sweep through the land for the final complete rejection of his government through the enforcement of an intolerant religious system empowered by the state, then His Judgments the 7 last plagues will be poured out in answer to union of church and state which enforces the mark of the governmental- ecclesiastical union.
Then God will rise up and protect His loyal people. And the inhabitants of the earth will learn what righteousness is as the bible states, “Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.” Mal_3:18
Because they see God’s covenant people spared from the plagues, and judgments upon whom no harm has come, while all those who have yielded to earthly powers, and governments to avoid the universal persecution occurring throughout the nations that are suffering under the 7 seals of God’s final judgments.
Does the context of this last verse give us a hint as to what righteousness is, and how to avoid the 7 last plagues? Surely, God’s word should always be studied in context, and it tells us exactly. You may even learn what the mark of the Beast is exactly if you desire.
Here’s how to know the truth of this study. “Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.”
“He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. Joh 7:18”
When we come to the bible we must be willing to do God’s will, not or own… we must learn the art of submission of the will to God regardless of the way we feel, or think. We must bow to the Word which was made flesh, and His spoken words. If we think we are wise enough to understand God’s word on our own without a firm reliance upon Christ then God will leave us to our own independent thought and we will error. If we open the bible without recognizing our need of the HOLY SPIRIT’S guidance then we are in danger of being left alone.
Unless man seeks God’s glory, and nothing for himself he will be misguided, and go out in to the midnight darkness of mind just as Judas did when he chose to betray Christ. In that very upper room, at the point of his final choice to reject Christ and betray him the Holy Spirit departed. Judas left the upper room, and the bible says, “and it was night! Joh 13:30” Soul darkness, spiritual blindness, we should fear least God leaves us for self willed behavior, and we don’t value Christ as we should, and betray Jesus by the choice to live by our own words, by forming our own doctrines, concepts, principles, ideas, instead of seeking to pattern the word of God exactly.
Joh 13:21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
Joh 13:22 Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake.
Joh 13:23 Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.
Joh 13:24 Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake.
Joh 13:25 He then lying on Jesus’ breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?
Joh 13:26 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
Joh 13:27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
Joh 13:28 Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.
Joh 13:29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.
Joh 13:30 He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.
Blindness is what the result will be until, we are know as fools. Did you know the bible prophesied of this blindness coming up many pastors in the last days for teaching the word of God their own way without submission to Christ?
Zec 11:17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened. Zec 11:17
That right eye is the dominant eye of the shepherd which he used to to cast a penetrating look upon the wolf, or the intruder into his flock as he raised his bow, and pulled back to release his arrow. But look, his eye is darkened utterly meaning no light can enter it, and his right pulling arm that raises the arrow is dry, (no elasticity to pull and release).
He has become a worthless pastor to the flock…
And did you know that this is a prophecy concerning the condition of the church and pastors in the last days…
Mal 3:16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
Mal 3:17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
