Christianity Rock and Roll and The Mix

The greatest Rock and Roll song of all time was the top 10 on VH1’s one hundred greatest rock songs of all time and it also landed the top spot on guitar world’s one hundred greatest guitar solos. This song is fused with spiritual writings, in fact words in the song used as symbols with hidden meanings were borrowed from the bible just as Lucifer still borrows from the word of God and bends it into a direction to suite his own purpose so this song is not without a distinct purpose. Since the song so clearly explains the title the Mix of Christianity and Rock and Roll, we will begin looking at a few of it’s lyrics and the purpose of the song which explores the greatest war ever fought.

Near the beginning of the song Stairway to Heaven there is a hidden genesis as the song states, “There’s a sign on the wall, but she wants to be sure “Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings.” The song’s idiom “a sign on the wall” or the phrase so often used “the handwriting is on the wall” means that there is a clear sign of misfortune in the future coming, It’s original use is from the Old Testament story of the prophet Daniel who while in Babylon was called to interpret the words written when a mysterious hand appeared and wrote the future of Babylon on the wall while the King and all of Babylon spent there last night partying before they were conquered by Medo Persia in 605 BC. (This is a historically documented fact you may research). No one could interpret the four words of a strange language and then Daniel was sent because the pagan king of Babylon Nebuchadnezzar had used him in the past to interpret dreams and visions and proved that the Spirit of God was in Daniel. The interpretation was that very night fulfilled and the kingdom was given to their enemies and that very night the king was slain. Interesting use of the words “there’s a sign on the wall” in this song because it is a song which needs interpretation, and the interpretation like Babylon’s explains a war with fearful results. It is the greatest war of all times which will not end well for those who do not receive the handwriting and quickly make the appropriate preparations. If you look up “sign on the wall” you will see that it originated and came from Daniels interpretation of the words declaring their fall therefore this introduction to the song with “sign on the wall” is plain this is a spiritual song that needs interpretation or you will never know what it means.

The first genesis we will discover is where the words with hidden meanings originated from. If one doesn’t understand the alternative meanings of words that are at play then they will not be able to detect symbolic meaning and will be left to the surface rendering. In the occult there are always two meanings; one surface meaning for common people and the other hidden (esoteric) meaning for the enlightened ones. Songs began to be written this way in Rock and Roll and pop culture because if the populaces understood what the songs purpose and intent was by the hidden words they would find it offensive and the revolution in America through music would have never accomplished its degenerate purpose of the moral pollution of the age. This is part two of understanding the song “Stairway to Heaven” be sure to read part one here.

In the book of Genesis we find a woman just as this song spoke of a lady and both are found in the presence of God and Satan, both have been given words, both have been warned that they are in a war that began long ago, the future has been plainly laid out, both are spending all to obtain something, and what happens next is determined by their choice. Even the context are the same in the song and the book of Genesis when the Creator and Satan are striving for the woman to follow their words alone at the exclusion of the other. The plot in Genesis and the song is of buying something (or giving absolutely all to receive something in return). In the book of Genesis the woman gives all and forfeits eternal life, paradise, and blessings by accepting words from the serpent and receives the promised curse of death. After the woman takes from the serpent the fruit she learns the cost was infinite. The lady in the song “that knows all that glitters is gold” has been deceived by words also and in attempt to gain all that was at the surface she looked no deeper and lost all.

That the world today is still seeking the shallow surface of life is a fact that causes those who study the human mind and behavior to marvel. Materialism, vanity, shallowness, fame, fortune are all lifestyles of the day that reveal a shallow motive lacking sincerity. The song stairway to heaven is one of the most spiritually occult songs ever written which is no wonder for it honors Lucifer who desired gain above morality and he has accompanied it with his special power and thus it became the greatest rock and roll song of all time. The price paid by the woman in the book of Genesis is the fulfillment of the words spoken which is a curse by the Creator of which was stated to Eve with a warning prior to her taking the fruit: “in the day ye eat thereof ye shall surely die”. But Satan’s plan was to deceive the woman by changing the meaning of the words as seen below:

“But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Gen_2:17  “
” And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: Gen_3:4″. So we see the Serpent attempting to change the meaning of the Creator’s words “ye shall surely die” with “ye shall not surely die”.

What did she receive from the serpent for eating the fruit except the knowledge that one day in the future she would die for eating what was forbidden by the Creator along with the pains of sin, suffering and death from here-out. Here in this song, a woman is once again buying what is a bad deal, a terrible return on investment for how can a woman purchase the “stairway to heaven”? What is the stairway to heaven? In reality it is the bridge where the perfect world above is able to reach down to fallen earth and hold communion and relationship with fallen human beings. The stairway or ladder is spoken biblically as “Jacob’s ladder” for Jacob had a vision in the night season of angels descending and ascending to and from earth and the ladder was the object that made those visits, or communications, possible which because of sin would have been totally impossible. This ladder or bridge is the redeemer who took all the sins of the world and gave back His perfectly correct life and standing before God thus declaring pure and righteous all who receive by faith the gift of his life (blood) and choose to receive His power to live free from sin.

So how is it that a woman can purchase the stairway which is the Savior that is Christ himself? Well first the song says she is buy a stairway to heaven, so it is not the stairway. The actually stairway cannot be bought. That was attempted by Satan when Christ was driven into the wilderness for 40 days and the devil came to him and tempted Him with appetite, presumption, wealth, and worship and He never failed once during the 33 1/2 years while on earth but maintained His unblemished recorded of a perfect life. Occultist know that Christ can’t be bought but a stairway which has another meaning can be bought. So to deceive the world their is a substitution of another stairway, or another Christ, or Antichrist and this is really the subject of the song “Stairway to Heaven”.

So what is this esoteric subject in the song? [esoteric: means that which is obscure and intended to be only comprehended by a chosen small group of people and hidden from the masses who will never share in the secret knowledge of the enlightened ones or Luciferians] Just so there is no confusion since there is a depth of perception that must be reached to understand “the mystery of iniquity” which describes this it occurs when the free will of man accepts a substitute of the principles of life for those that bring death, of evil for good, when wrong is made to be right, when the world is turned upside down in a New World Order which is really the resurrection of the Old World (the dark ages) and the loss of freedom and liberty that were in it and this is exactly the decision that Eve made when she at of the forbidden fruit. She chose darkness for light and the substitution of a lie for the truth. This song is the continuation of that process of rebellion which began in heaven by Lucifer, was quickly carried out in Eden and will have it’s last stand in a world wide rebellion prior to the return of Christ.

Just as another meaning was given to the fruit offered to the woman by Satan so another meaning has been constructed for the stairway by Satan and when people accept it they will receive the same curse as Eve the first woman received. So “a stairway” is a false messiah which people will have a false hope in or a false message (false gospel) that is substituted. This false stairway to heaven is an interesting substitution when you consider the two ways mankind has really attempted to climb this stairway in his own strength and to save himself by false methods. The first is believing God is so merciful He will forgive man regardless and be saved in his sins or that the law is no longer binding and that salvation can be reached while violating one of God’s laws. The second is that man can be saved by his works or by attempting to earn salvation. So the woman is buying her entrance into the kingdom of heaven by her own works and in her presumptions sins. Let’s look at the lyrics for a moment:

There’s a lady who’s sure all that glitters is gold
And she’s buying a stairway to heaven
When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed
With a word she can get what she came for
Ooh, ooh, and she’s buying a stairway to heaven

Why is the outward and not the inward so attractive to this woman? The first glitter, at first glance she is sure it’s gold. This is a shallow look at what is not gold and she is satisfied but the true proverb testifies that all that glitters is not gold and that not everything that looks precious or true turns out to really be that way. This phrase is commonly used in witchcraft language which reverses the meaning of the word as this song says ” There’s a sign on the wall, but she wants to be sure cause you know sometimes words have two meanings.” An example of double meanings of words are used by the occultist J.R.R. Tolkien’s poem found in the book “The Fellowship of the Ring”

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

The above poem creates confusion regarding people who are lost and wandering on earth without an understanding of the truth to guide them safely into real, unending, eternal life. The author of the poem is a deep spiritual occultist who has a extreme interest in life after this one so the topic of being lost enters the poem. If your lost it is synonymous for losing eternal life which is what Eve lost when she broke the law and ate the fruit in Eden. It also says: all gold does not glitter however all literal gold glitters, but other things may glitter that are not gold.

Are casual observers of Christianity, so called Christians satisfied with their belief that they can be saved by doing something, earning salvation by their works? Do surface readers think that all of God’s ten commandments are no longer binding and that they can be saved while living in known transgression of one of God’s laws? They might not say so but reality proves otherwise. The Hindu may roll on a bed of spikes, others may pay penitence which are often performed during the period of lent, even flagellants who would whip themselves which began around the 14 century. However in the Christian world people strive to reach the same goal through good works, or doing something good, that they believe they should do if they hope to go to heaven. Works not prompted by love are the wrong motive.

The bible says we are not saved of ourselves: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast. Eph 2:8-9″. But the song states ” With a word she can get what she came for” that is by her word, her power, works of authority she can get what she desires, and yet God’s people know that nothing in the Christian life is accomplished in their own strength but in Christ as stated by Christ, “without me ye can do nothing. John 15:5” and “I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 1 Cor .15:10”. By God’s grace Paul stated, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Phil. 4:10.”

As the leaven, when mingled with the meal, works from within outward, so it is by the renewing of the heart that the grace of God works to transform the life. No mere external change is sufficient to bring us into harmony with God. There are many who try to reform by correcting this or that bad habit, and they hope in this way to become Christians, but they are beginning in the wrong place. Our first work is with the heart.

Here is the true and only way one can be saved: It was possible for Adam, before the fall, to form a righteous character by obedience to God’s law. But he failed to do this, and because of his sin our natures are fallen and we cannot make ourselves righteous. Since we are sinful, unholy, we cannot perfectly obey the holy law. We have no righteousness of our own with which to meet the claims of the law of God. But Christ has made a way of escape for us. He lived on earth amid trials and temptations such as we have to meet. He lived a sinless life. He died for us, and now He offers to take our sins and give us His righteousness. If you give yourself to Him, and accept Him as your Saviour, then, sinful as your life may have been, for His sake you are accounted righteous. Christ’s character stands in place of your character, and you are accepted of God just as if you had not sinned.

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.  Rom 5:1-2”. It is through justification that we are credited as obeying God’s commandments. This song reveals a sinister plot of ruining people’s opportunity to receive their eternal inheritance through deception and it is actually boasting in how broad the plain of establishing a false system of salvation through works, (legalism) and believing the law has been done away with has succeeded.  The man who attempts to keep the commandments of God from a sense of obligation merely because he is required to do so will never enter the joy of obedience. He does not obey. When the requirements of God are accounted a burden because they cut across human inclination, we may know that the life is not a Christian life. True obedience is the outworking of a principle within. It springs from a love of righteousness, the love of the law of God. The essence of all righteousness is loyalty to our Redeemer. This will lead us to do right because it is right because right doing is pleasing to God. So do you see how people have been prompted to do something right because of requirement rather than love?
