The power of God to free you from occult practices…

road-to-emmausthrwrtt

One of Rodger Morneau’s 1st verses He learned that saved his life which he testifies of in the movie “Trip Into The Supernatural” is, “He came unto his own, and his own received him not.   But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12″  The fallen angels seek as they did with Rodger  to keep you from making a full commitment to God.  For once you’ve done this you have the Lord’s protective power.  If you haven’t seen the movie Trip into the Supernatural please watch it on the home page it shows how great God is and how he can deliver you.

And, even before that God will hold the fallen angels in check so that they can approach but come no further than He allows unless we break down the barriers of His protection by engaging in activities, or having in our possession material which belong to demons, and the occult.  Whatever has their stamp of character, bears their resemblance, and is used for their purposes belongs to them which gives them the right to have access to people through those avenues.  All occult materials, and activities must be removed to have freedom from demon harassment.

Christ Commitment was purchased by his own blood for you act Calvary… for these souls which Jesus has bought He promises to enlist all the power of Heaven to save you:

1Co 6:20  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

1Pe 1:18  Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
1Pe 1:20  Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

The sacrifices, and offerings of Lambs made by the Priests pointed forward to Christ death on the cross.

Rev_5:12  Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

Rev_13:8  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

When the soul surrenders itself to Christ, a new power takes possession of the new heart. A change is wrought which man can never accomplish for himself. It is a supernatural work, bringing a supernatural element into human nature. The soul that is yielded to Christ becomes His own fortress, which He holds in a revolted world, and He intends that no authority shall be known in it but His own. A soul thus kept in possession by the heavenly agencies is impregnable to the assaults of Satan.

But unless we do yield ourselves to the control of Christ, we shall be dominated by the wicked one. We must inevitably be under the control of the one or the other of the two great powers that are contending for the supremacy of the world. It is not necessary for us deliberately to choose the service of the kingdom of darkness in order to come under its dominion. We have only to neglect to ally ourselves with the kingdom of light. If we do not co-operate with the heavenly agencies, Satan will take possession of the heart, and will make it his abiding place. The only defense against evil is the indwelling of Christ in the heart through faith in His righteousness.

Unless we become vitally connected with God, we can never resist the unhallowed effects of self-love, self-indulgence, and temptation to sin. We may leave off many bad habits, for the time we may part company with Satan; but without a vital connection with God, through the surrender of ourselves to Him moment by moment, we shall be overcome. Without a personal acquaintance with Christ, and a continual communion, we are at the mercy of the enemy, and shall do his bidding in the end.

Here is the prayer (below) in the bible which Morneau learned of Hezekiah when the Assyrian king threatened to destroy them.  This prayer  encouraged him and sustained him to tell the demon worshipers that there was no way he would ever return, and that he was rejecting the invitation of the master to join the group of Elite Spirit Worshipers.  He had just read it when Roland came to his door…

At this point his friend Roland said, “I can’t believe it, of all people not Morneau, would do a stupid thing like daring the spirits, you’re an intelligent man, aren’t you… You know you’ve got a choice, the high priest tells me that if you come to see him now, no problem everything will be straightened out with the spirits, he’s promised me that already, you’ve got that assurance. Let’s do the right thing, why gamble with your life.”

Morneau said, “well I’ll tell you what, I don’t feel like going to see the high priest, now or ever…”

“Well I hate to have to  tell you this, but seeing that you don’t… you’ve decided that you don’t want to have anything more to do with the master, and his people.  I hate to tell you this, that the high priest has told me that a price has been put on your life, a medical doctor, a member has pledged $10,000 to you done in.”

When Roland recognized he was losing the battle he became nervous, and he got up, and went to the door, and put his hand on the door, and said, “Morneau please,  If it’s not for your sake do it for me, do you realize what’s going to happen to me if something happens to you?  … I don’t know how they’re going to treat me…”

Morneau said, “Hey man let me tell you something, I’ve got a suggestion for you… you come with me…  I’ll guarantee you all the protection you need to live to a ripe ole age, and beside that I’ll tell you what, you should go back and tell he high priest and his boys to come to our church, I’ll arrange for my minister to have a 100 spaces for you right off the center isle.”  “I’d never say a stupid thing like that”.  ” Well that’s you’re responsibility, things are settled” said Morneau
Then he lit a cigarette, a Morneau saw his hand shake,  Morneau said, “your quit nervous”, Roland said, “well let me tell he says, there’s a power here, a presence that I’m not accustomed to.  I’m very uncomfortable because there’s a power here that makes me terribly uncomfortable.”  “Do you know what it is, it’s the presence of the Spirit of God, the Spirit of the Creator, the Life Giver, every other power is subject unto that Higher Power, you’re aware of that aren’t you.”  Roland said, “Oh yea…”

Then Morneau said, “My friend, I’ve got some news for you, not so much for you as it is for the high priest, and his boys…( here Morneau states that He recognized the Spirit of God encouraging him with very special righteous indignation) the day that they wipe me out, and do me in will be the day that the Life Giver is going to pull the breathe of life on all of them except the high priest and they’ll be dead cadavers there in the temple, and tell the high priest this, don’t call the funeral directors, because they don’ t have enough hursts.  You better call the fire department in Montreal… they’ll pile them all of there, the whole 100 of them.  This is what’s going to take place.”

Roland said, “you’re a fool”  “You think so” says Morneau, ”  “Let me show you something” (Morneau picked up the bible) “I’m going to tell you a little story”, Roland said, “Make it short because I’m going. ”

“Listen to this, I just read this, this morning, there was a man named Hezekiah that believed in the Creator, a few 1oo years back… and let me tell you what happened to him.  Sennacherib came with his armies, ( I told him the story).  He (Hezekiah) went before the Lord and prayed about it, and the Lord said the way that Sennacherib came is the way he’s going to go home, and during the night a 185,000 men were destroyed by the angel of the Lord.

So I said, “Don’t tell me that I don’t know what I’m talking about.  I can assure you, that if they put a bullet in me they are going to all lose out. Because the Creator will remove the breathe of life.”  (The Lord gave Morneau the faith to believe that He would back up Morneau’s  statements.”

Roland said, “Well I guess I’ve lost my time, before we part, I don’t want to even shake your hand, because your not a friend of mine no more… if ever we meet one another anywhere in the city of Montreal don’t you ever look at me like you know me, because I will ignore you, and embarss  you where ever we are.” “Fine, Morneau said, “no problem with that at all.”

Here’s the bible story, and prayer that strengthened Morneau’s faith:

Ki 19:1  And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.
2Ki 19:2  And he sent Eliakim, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.
2Ki 19:3  And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.
2Ki 19:4  It may be the LORD thy God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God; and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that are left.
2Ki 19:5  So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.
2Ki 19:6  And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
2Ki 19:7  Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.
2Ki 19:8  So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.
2Ki 19:9  And when he heard say of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, Behold, he is come out to fight against thee: he sent messengers again unto Hezekiah, saying,
2Ki 19:10  Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.
2Ki 19:11  Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, by destroying them utterly: and shalt thou be delivered?
2Ki 19:12  Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed; as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Thelasar?
2Ki 19:13  Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivah?
2Ki 19:14  And Hezekiah received the letter of the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up into the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.
2Ki 19:15  And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.
2Ki 19:16  LORD, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, LORD, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God.
2Ki 19:17  Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands,
2Ki 19:18  And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.
2Ki 19:19  Now therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only.
2Ki 19:20  Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, That which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.
2Ki 19:21  This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin the daughter of Zion hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.
2Ki 19:22  Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.
2Ki 19:23  By thy messengers thou hast reproached the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.
2Ki 19:24  I have digged and drunk strange waters, and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of besieged places.
2Ki 19:25  Hast thou not heard long ago how I have done it, and of ancient times that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities into ruinous heaps.
2Ki 19:26  Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.
2Ki 19:27  But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.
2Ki 19:28  Because thy rage against me and thy tumult is come up into mine ears, therefore I will put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.
2Ki 19:29  And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such things as grow of themselves, and in the second year that which springeth of the same; and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruits thereof.
2Ki 19:30  And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.
2Ki 19:31  For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
2Ki 19:32  Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it.
2Ki 19:33  By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.
2Ki 19:34  For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.
2Ki 19:35  And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.
2Ki 19:36  So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.
2Ki 19:37  And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword: and they escaped into the land of Armenia. And Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.

Take God at his word!  Make the prayer of Hezekiah your own, “that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only”, God is committed to revealing His Glory and making Himself known by you, and in your life.  He does this work in all the earth through all His servants… if you choose to serve Him, then you have the assurance that heaven will back you up if you leave sin, turn away from occult practices, and choose to do those things that will honor and glorify him!

Look at it below:  God doesn’t want man fearing man, or the devil, see how committed God is…

Rev_15:4  Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

God’s judgment are being manifest now, look at all the problems in this earth, and because we are living in the judgment hour God’s special blessings are being poured out now more than ever to honor Him, and give Him glory (glory= reflecting His Character/actions, thoughts and feelings) in your own life.

Look at it:  “Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. Rev. 14:7”

The hour of God’s judgment is come… if you choose to glorify God He will take care of you…
