How To Be Born Again

How To Be Born Again

To many the process of being born again, (how to be born again) and how to receive power to live the Christian life is a mystery.  Many others  have tried to experience the born again process, and have struggled with a life of sin, and repentance, sin, and repentance without gaining the victory over the areas in their life they have been troublesome.  This has been a major problem for families, and the church for allowing these strongholds of sin to continue will have a debilitating effect upon the members.  It tempts them to think that the power of God must not be sufficient to gain the victory over sin when God has said it is sufficient.  It causes members of the family of God, and in the home to doubt instead of exercising strong faith in the promises of God. ” The truth is… a man (must) be born again, (or) he can not see the kingdom of God” nor help his family see and enter into the kingdom of God now or ever!  Jesus… John 3:3

And faith in the promise “my grace (power) is sufficient for thee” is the key to receiving power from God.  Did not God tell Paul, “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  2Co 12:9”  And was not Paul glorying in his weakness which lead him to lean more fully upon Christ as his sole resource of strength “that the power of Christ may rest upon me”.  If we are to ever recognize the power of God resting upon us then there is no better time to begin receiving that power than today.

Christ has promised power to “go and sin no more” for each member of the family (Jn 8:11), and if the family who is struggling today with infidelity, commitment, peace, and love ever needed power they need it now.  Where is this to be power found, and how is it to be received?   These are the questions that will be positively answered today along with what is hindering many from receiving the grace that will alone will enable them to be born again, and live a happy, joyous Christian life.  This is our greatest need, and we should let nothing hinder us from the quest to find it.  May God bless you friend… Amen

“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:  The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Joh 3:1” Here is teacher in Israel who also needed to learn this lesson.  For he had been very religious, and admired by his countrymen as a noble gentleman in favor with God as a Pharisee full of good works.

Nicodemus also regard himself as many of his religious friends, and leaders in Israel as being in high standing with God.  Before seeing Jesus miracles and acts of kindness upon the poor and distressed, before hearing his words he had been sure of his salvation, but now he longed for something beyond what he possessed as a Jew, and a religious leader.  And although Jesus was not accepted by the leaders of the church who would criticize and condemn Nicodemus for seeking Jesus he recognized in him a power that could belong only to God.  Cautiously yet with a sincere heart he sought out Jesus by night, and even though his courage withered from seeking Jesus openly this did not stop Jesus from ministering to him.  For Jesus the born again experience is a process;  He knows the struggle of the heart to respond to the drawing process of the Spirit of God, and He works gently, sometimes almost imperceptibly as the wind to move and strengthen the heart to be able to stand for Him.  This story is about that process.
